This week on the podcast we have a special guest to mark the 10th episode of the show, Vanessa Runs. Vanessa and I have been friends for years and in 2012 she was one of the people who helped me to gather the courage to quit my day job and jump into Dirt in Your Skirt and Obstacle Racing full time, so it was special to have her on the podcast, to say the least! Vanessa is a modern day nomad living in a small RV with her husband and pets. In 2012, she and her now husband sold all their belongings, got rid of the house, car, and everything else to move into an RV. Here they are 4 years later still on the road. They have traveled North America exploring the world. In the process, Vanessa has written two books, The Summit Seeker and Daughters of Distance. She is currently working on her third book as they spend the summer in Leadville, Colorado. Vanessa joined us via skype through her phone this week to talk about her books, life on the road and the future. Listen in to this special episode.
